    Corrosion Behavior of MAO Coating on Magnesium Alloy in Ehylene Glycol Aqueous Solution

    • 摘要: 通过电化学阻抗谱及相应的等效电路研究了AZ91D镁合金微弧氧化(MAO)膜在乙二醇水溶液中的腐蚀行为, 采用扫描电镜对表面腐蚀形貌进行了观察。结果表明: 乙二醇吸附至MAO膜表面后, 逐步形成了一层致密的防护膜, 随乙二醇浓度增大, 电荷转移电阻增大, MAO膜的耐腐蚀性能提高; 腐蚀性离子(Cl-与SO42-)在乙二醇水溶液中共存时, 腐蚀作用加强; 添加了0.2 mol·L-1 NaF后, 由于生成了难溶于水的含氟晶体, 填充了MAO膜的多孔层空隙, 对镁合金微弧氧化膜起到了有效的缓蚀作用。

       

      Abstract: The corrosion behavior of micro-arc oxidation (MAO) coating on AZ91D magnesium alloy in ethylene glycol aqueous solution was investigated using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and relative equivalent circuits. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was employed to examine the surface morphologies of samples after corrosion. The results show that the ethylene glycol adsorbed and formed a layer of protective film on the surface of MAO coating; with increasing concentration of ethylene glycol the charge transfer resistance increased, and the corrosion resistance of MAO coating on AZ91D magnesium alloy improved. Corrosive ions (Cl- and SO42-) coexisting in ethylene glycol aqueous solution enhanced corrosivity of the MAO coating. The corrosion of AZ91D magnesium alloy coated MAO was effectively inhibited by addition of 0.2 mol·L-1 NaF because the insoluble fluoride containing crystals filled the interspaces in porous layer of the MAO coating.
