    晶粒尺寸对TC4钛合金超塑性行为及变形机理的影响

    Influence of Grain Size on Superplastic Behavior and Deformation Mechanism of TC4 Titanium Alloy

    • 摘要: 研究了不同晶粒尺寸(2,8,18 μm)TC4钛合金在温度860~950 ℃和应变速率5×10-4~5×10-3 s-1条件下的超塑性拉伸变形行为及组织演变,分析了晶粒尺寸对该合金超塑性变形行为及变形机理的影响.结果表明:在温度890 ℃、应变速率5×10-4 s-1的变形条件下,细晶 (2 μm)合金超塑性变形的断后伸长率高达1 300%,而粗晶(18 μm)合金的仅为450%;细晶(2~8 μm)合金超塑性变形后,平均应变速率敏感指数m值在0.50左右,晶粒保持较好的等轴状,在α/α晶界、α晶内均未观察到明显的位错,在α/β晶界附近发现少量的位错;粗晶(18 μm)合金超塑性变形后,m值仅为0.30,晶粒等轴程度下降,在α/α晶界及α晶内均发现大量位错,且在α晶内发现亚晶.

       

      Abstract: Uniaxial tensile tests and microstructure observation were carried out in the temperature range of 860-950 ℃ and strain rate range of 5×10-4-5×10-3 s-1 to evaluate the superplasticity of TC4 titanium alloy with different initial grain sizes (2,8,18 μm).The influence of grain size on superplastic behavior and deformation mechanism of TC4 titanium alloy was investigated.The results indicated that under the optimum deformation conditions of strain rate 5×10-4 s-1 at 890 ℃,the maximum elongation for the fine-grained (2 μm) TC4 alloy was 1 300%,and 450% for the coarse-grained (18 μm) alloy.After superplastic deformation,for the fine-grained (2-8 μm) TC4 alloy,the average strain rate sensitivity index m was about 0.50,microstructure was equiaxed and some dislocations were observed near the α/β boundaries.For the coarse-grained (18 μm) TC4 alloys,m was only 0.30,the microstructure had little equiaxed grains,a large number of dislocations were observed not only near the α/α boundaries but also in α grains,and subgrains were also observed in α grains.
