    Preparation and Photocatalytic Activities of Ce4+ Doped TiO2

    • 摘要: 采用浸渍法制备了不同Ce4+掺杂量纳米TiO2光催化剂,并用透射电镜、X射线衍射仪和紫外-可见吸收光谱等手段对其进行了表征.以甲基橙为目标降解物,用紫外-可见吸收光谱考察了其光催化特性.结果表明:Ce4+的掺杂提高了纳米TiO2粉体的相变温度,1.2%的掺杂量可以使纳米TiO2在800 ℃煅烧后保持锐钛矿型;在汞灯照射下,90 min后对甲基橙的脱色率可达94.7%,而纯TiO2在120 min后脱色率仅仅为53.7%.

       

      Abstract: The 20-45 nm Ce4+ doped TiO2 was prepared by impregnation method and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),UV-visible reflectance spectra,and absorbance spectra in photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange(MO).The results show that cerium doping enhances thermal stability of nano-TiO2 up to 800 ℃.In phtocatalytic degradation of MO,after 90 min irradiation,the decolor rate of MO treated with 1.2% Ce4+ doped TiO2 is 94.7%,while that of pure nano-TiO2 is only 53.7% after 120 min.
