    Oxidation Resistance of ZrB2-YAG-Al2O3 Multi-phase Ceramics

    • 摘要: 通过共沉淀法获得包覆式A12O3-Y2O3/ZrB2复合粉体,对其进行放电等离子烧结制备相应的复相陶瓷,并对不同YAG(钇铝石榴石)、Al2O3含量的复相陶瓷进行了氧化试验,用SEM、XRD和电子探针等研究了YAG、Al2O3对ZrB2陶瓷抗氧化性的影响.结果表明:制备的各种复相陶瓷和纯ZrB2陶瓷相比,在相同氧化条件下表面的氧化层厚度都有所变薄,YAG、Al2O3的加入可以改善ZrB2陶瓷的抗氧化性能;在相同氧化条件下,Al2O3含量越多,氧化层厚度越小;在高温条件下,复相陶瓷氧化层中均存在ZrO2、B2O3和Al18B4O33相,Al2O3含量越多,Al18B4O33相也越多.

       

      Abstract: The ZrB2 coated with Al2O3-Y2O3 composite powders were obtained by co-precipitation method.The composite ceramics were prepared by spark plasma sintering (SPS)technique.Oxidation tests of the composite ceramics with different YAG(yttrim aluminum garnet)and Al2O3 contents were performed.The effects of YAG and Al2O3 on oxidation resistance of the ZrB2 ceramics were analyzed by using SEM,XRD and EPMA.The results show that the oxide layer thickness of ZrB2 ceramics added with YAG Al2O3 decreased compared to pure ZrB2 ceramics under the same oxidized conditions.YAG and Al2O3 could improve the oxidation resistance of ZrB2 ceramics.The more the Al2O3 content,the thinner the oxide layer thickness.Under high temperature condition the oxide layers on the composite ceramics were composed of ZrO2,B2O3 and Al18B4O33 phase.The more the Al2O3 content,the more the Al18B4O33 phase.
