Abstract:
The surface strengthening of vibration process and shot-peening process had been applied to the grinding surface of 30CrMnSiA steel separately,and then chromium plating was carried out.The effect of surface strenthening methods on the fatigue property of the steel was analyzed.The results show that the fatigue strength was increased by 13.0% and 19.6%,which were 617 MPa and 653 MPa through surface vibration process and surface shot-peening process respectively.The fatigue strength was increased a little bit by 2.1% and 2.6%,which were 630 MPa and 670 MPa through chromium plating after surface vibration process and surface shot-peening process,respectively.
