    Damping Capacities of Ni-Ga-Fe Ferromagnetic Shape Memory Alloy

    • 摘要: 在分析相变温度和显微组织的基础上, 采用低频扭摆仪研究了镍-镓-铁系铁磁性形状记忆合金的阻尼性能与应变振幅、频率及温度的关系。结果表明: Ni52Ga27Fe21合金的马氏体相变为热弹性马氏体相变, 特征温度Ms、Mf、As、Af分别为69.3 ℃, 60.2 ℃, 93.6 ℃, 102.6 ℃, 室温下组织为板条状马氏体;镍-镓-铁系合金室温时的阻尼性能主要依赖于频率, Ni52Ga27Fe21合金的阻尼类型为阻尼共振型, 而Ni53Ga27Fe20和Ni50Ga27Fe23合金的为滞弹性阻尼型;Ni52Ga27Fe21合金在马氏体相和奥氏体相共存时具有高阻尼性能, 最大阻尼值为0.016。

       

      Abstract: The correlation between damping capacities of the Ni-Ga-Fe ferromagnetic shape memory alloys (FSMA), strain amplitude, frequency and temperature was investigated by using low frequency torsion pendulum on the basis of phase transition temperature and microstructure analysis. The results show that the martensite transformation of the Ni52Ga27Fe21 alloy was thermoelastic phase transition, there was lath martersite at room temperature. Its start temperatures of thermoelastic martensitic transformation and the reverse transformation were 69.3 and 93.6 ℃, and finish temperatures were 60.2 and 102.6 ℃, respectively. Damping properties of the Ni-Ga-Fe alloy at room temperature was determined by frequency. Damping of the Ni52Ga27Fe21 alloy was type of damping resonance, while that of Ni53Ga27Fe20 alloy and Ni50Ga27Fe23 alloy was anelasticity. The Ni52Ga27Fe21 alloy exhibited high damping capacities with a maximum damping value of 0.016 when martensitic and austenite phases coexisted.
