    Properties of SiO2/PTFE-Ni Composite Coatings Prepared by Jet Electrodepositon

    • 摘要: 用高速电喷镀技术在钢基片上制得了含有纳米SiO2和聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)的镍基复合镀层;在镀液中加入适当的分散剂,用磁性搅拌机对镀液中的纳米颗粒进行分散,用扫描电镜观察镀层的表面形貌和显微组织;用销-盘对磨形式对镀层的滑动磨损性能及其在人造海水中的腐蚀速率进行了试验研究.结果表明:喷射速度越大,镀层越致密;SiO2和PTFE可以提高镍镀层的致密性、细化镀层晶粒,显著提高镀层的耐磨性;同时含有两种颗粒的复合镀层的耐磨性比只含一种颗粒的耐磨性高;镀层中PTFE含量越高,其在人造海水中的耐腐蚀性能越好.

       

      Abstract: Nickel-base composite coatings containing SiO2 and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) were prepared by high-speed-jet electrodeposition on steel substrate.Surfactants were added in the electroplating solution for particle dispersion.Magnetic stirring was used to keep particles from sediment.The influences of PTFE and SiO2 contents and jet velocity on the microstructure and properties of the composite coatings were studied.The morphology and microstructure of the coatings were analyzed with scanning electron microscopy.The wear resistance tests were performed using a pin-on-disc tribometer.The corrosion rates of the coatings in the man-made seawater were investigated.It was showed that the surface morphology of the composite coatings were flatter than that of pure nickel coating,and became flatter and compacter with increase of jet speed and the contents of SiO2 or/and PTFE in the coatings.Compared with the value of wear rate of the nickel coatings,addition of PTFE or/and SiO2 in nickel coating significantly improved the characteristics of the anti-wearing of the coatings by more than 5 times.Ni-PTFE-SiO2 composite coatings demonstrated superior wear resistance to Ni-PTFE or Ni-SiO2 coatings under the same experimental conditions.Corrosion rates of the coatings decreased with the increase of the PTFE content in the coatings.
