    Electrochemical Corrosion Properties of Cu72Sn10P10Ni8 Amorphous Ribbon

    • Cu72Sn10P10Ni8 amorphous ribbon was prepared by single-roller melt-spinning method, and then the ribbon was vacuum-annealed at 200 ℃ for 1 h. The amorphous characteristics of the amorphous ribbons was studied by X-ray diffraction, and the electrochemical corrosion properties of the ribbon in 1 mol·L-1 NaOH and 1 mol·L-1 H2SO4 solutions by studied by electrochemical polarization curves and electrochemical impedance spectroscopies. The results show that the amorphous ribbon was partially crystallized after vacuum-annealing, with the crystal phases Cu81Sn22, Ni3Sn4 and Cu3P. The amorphous ribbon had a higher corrosion resistance in NaOH solution than in H2SO4 solution, and the amorphous ribbon annealed at 200 ℃ had better corrosion resistance than the unanneld one.
