    Research Progress of Rare Earth Doped Oxy-fluoride Glass Ceramics

    • Rare earth doped oxy-fluoride glass ceramics have greater prospects in the application of up-conversion color light-emitting material, fiber amplifier and near-infrared light-emitting materials, due to its advantages of both fluorides and oxides. The research progress on the composition, properties and applications of the rare earth doped oxy-fluoride glass ceramics are reviewed, and the existed problems and development trend in this field are also discussed.
