Numerical Simulating on Cold Stamping of Two Kinds of Advanced High Strength Steels Sheet

Abstract
According to limit drawing experiments based on GB/T 15825.3-2008 and HAT test method respectively, the cold stamping process of two kinds of advanced high strength steels (SZBS600 and SPFH590) were simulated respectively using software Dynaform; The effects of blank holding force and friction coefficient on springback were analyzed, the limit drawing performances of tested steels were discussed and verification were conducted. The results show that, at the same blank holding fore, experimental springback angles of the two steels were approximately the same value, and they all decreased with the increase of blank holding force. The maximum difference between simulated and experimental springback angles was 1.03°. When blank holding force was 200 kN, with the increase of friction coefficient from 0.03 to 0.06, the simulated springback angle reduced from 13.769° to 0.676°. The experimental limit drawing ratio of steels SPFH590 and SZBS600 were 2.150 and 2.175, respectively, and the simulated results in the range of 2.0 to 2.2, experimental results and numerical simulation results are basically consistent,this proved the accuracy of the model. The two tested steels had similar springback angle and limit drawing performance.
