Research Progress of Eco-Friendly Silicon Brass for Bathroom Industry

The research progress of eco-friendly silicon brass for bathroom industry is summarized from the point of industrialization. The chemical composition, comprehensive properties and producing application of low zinc silicon brass, silicon-bismuth brass, silicon-phosphorus brass and silicon-manganese brass are described in detail, and the modification of silicon brass is briefly introduced. The research trend of eco-friendly silicon brass is prospected, and the research direction in future, such as focusing on cost reduction, casting property improvement and modification, is put forward.
