Research Progress on Preparation Methods of TiO2 Antibacterial Coating

Abstract
TiO2 antibacterial coating has the characteristics of long sterilization time and minimal pollution damage, and has an unparalleled application prospect compared with traditional fungicides. The bactericidal mechanism and coating types of TiO2 coatings are reviewed, and the advantages, disadvantages and application status of main preparation processes, such as sol-gel method, electro-deposition method, magnetron sputtering method, plasma spraying method, and micro arc oxidation method are introduced. The future research direction of TiO2 antibacterial coating is prospected.
