    Research Progress on Factors Affecting Bending Strength, Dimensional Accuracy and Surface Quality of Ceramic Cores by Binder Jetting

    • Binder jetting technology has been widely used in preparation of ceramic cores because of its low cost and controllability, but the bending strength, dimensional accuracy and surface quality of prepared ceramic cores are generally low. These deficiencies can be improved by changing the preparation process parameters. The effects of the parameters of powder, binder, forming process and post-treatment process on the bending strength, dimensional accuracy and surface quality of ceramic cores are reviewed, and the future development direction of improving the bending strength, dimensional accuracy and surface quality of ceramic cores prepared by binder jetting is proposed.
