    Influence of Filtration on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of ZL102 Alloys by Electro-Thermal Method

    • The ZL102 alloy was prepared by electro-thermal method with a impurity removing process.The influence of filtration on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the alloy was investigated.The results show that the impurities such as iron and calcium in the alloy could be eliminated through filtration.The morphology of Fe phase in the alloy tended to change to spherical shape from small bulk and polyhedral shape.Slender Ca phases were eliminated.The tensile strength and elongation of the alloy increased by 28% and 225%,respectively.
