    Influence of Aluminium Content on Carburization Dynamics and Kinetics of Bainite Transformation in Steel

    • Using pit furnace and Gleeble3500 type thermal simulator to test the carburization dynamics and kinetics of bainite transformation in four Al-containing steels with different contents. The effect of Al content was studied. The results show that the carburization dynamics equation of the steel was ξ=e(11.3-QRT)τ0.5, there was no obvious effect of changing the Al content on the carburization dynamics. With the increase of the Al content, the kinetics of bainite transformation increased, which fastened the bainite transformation and shifted the CCT curves to left upper side.
