    Relationship between Mechanical Properties and Earing of Pure Aluminium Rolled Sheets

    • Anisotropy of mechanical properties of the cold rolling commercial pure aluminum plates with different rolling processes,and effect of the anisotropy on earing was studied by means of tensile and cupping tests.The results show that the aluminum plates presented diversity of anisotropy because of their different rolling processes,which resulted in different earings.Plastic strain ratio had the greatest effect on the earing.The smaller anisotropy of tensile properties corresponded to the less obviuos earing of the plates after deep drawing.Finished products with less than 2% earing rate were produced and satisfied the requirements of enterprise standard.
