Abstract
Aluminum powder slurry was prepared by polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) gel, and then was mixed with carbon nanotubes dispersed solution to prepare carbon nanotubes (CNTs)/Al composite powders. The viscosity and infrared spectrum of PVA was tested by viscometer and infrared spectrometer, the morphology of CNTs/Al composite powders and the dispersion state of CNTs were observed by SEM. The results show that carbon nanotubes uniformly dispersed on the aluminum powders surface. The adsorption amount of CNTs increased from 0.04vol% to 0.2vol% when the concentration of PVA gel increased from 1wt% to 3wt%.
