    Transient Liquid Phase Bonding of TP304H Stainless Steel Pipe

    • Transient liquid phase(TLP) bonding was applied to join TP304H stainless pipe,and the effect of bonding temperature on joint microstructure and mechanical properties was studied.With increasing bonding temperature,the alloy elements diffused enough between base metal and joint,bond interface disappeared slowly and the grains grew across joint,then a joint with microstructure and mechanical properties that were similar to those of base metal was produced.As TLP bonding can easily produce a good joint in short time,it can be widely applied in pipe welding.
