Research Progress of Ferritic Heat-resistant Steels Used for Ultra-super Critical Steam Turbine Units

High chromium ferritic heat-resistant steels are the primary materials for the USC (ultra-super critical) steam turbine units.The progress on the research of such steels was reviewed,then the research results and major problems of strengthening mechanisms with tungsten and cobalt were emphasized.Davelopment directions of the steels were put forward.
