Properties of Casted Polyurethane Reinforced by Nano-sized SiO₂

Casted polyurethane(PUR) based composites filled with surface modified nano-sized SiO2 were prepared.The mechanical properties,heat-resistant performance and damping performance were studied.The microstructure analysis was conducted with scaning electron microscopy.The results show that the hardness and longitudinal strength are increased,the heat-resistant performance and damping performance are improved and the nano-sized SiO2 dispersed in the PUR homogeneously.
