    Effect of Benzoyl Peroxide on Blowing Behavior of Azobisformamide in Silicon Rubber

    • Silicon rubber foam was prepared by chemical blowing method using azobisformamide (AC) as blowing,agent urea as blowing promoter,and benzoyl peroxide (BPO) as cure agent.The rheological properties of blowing agent AC in silicon rubber were investigated by blowing rheometer.The cell structure and tensile properties of the foam were analyzed by means of SEM and electronic universal tester.The results show that the silicon rubber foam with different cell structures could be obtained.The blowing rate and vulcanization rate matched well at an appropriate temperature.The efficiency of blowing was improved as the blowing agent AC addition increased.The foam compound had good tensile properties as the AC addition was 8 portion in 100 portion silicon rubber.
