The Fitting and Prediction of Compressive and Recovery Curve of Non-asbestos Metal Spiral Gasket

The compressive and recovery curves of non-asbestos metal spiral gaskets were fitted by the experiment data using Matlab software without considering the influence of temperature. And the recovery curves under different pre-loading conditions were predicted. The results show that the fitted equations were precise. These predicted compressive and recovery curves under different pre-loading coincided with experimental curves very well and were of high precision.
