    Template Method Synthetizing CuS Ultra-Long Microwires and Its Characterization

    • Taking polymathylmethacrylate (PMAA) as template, copper sulfate and thiourea as raw materials, some CuS ultra-long microwires were synthesized at 80 ℃ by a simple chemical method and the factors for effecting structure and morphology of CuS ultra-long micronwires were discussed and the possible growth mechanism was proposed. The results show that the diameter and length of the CuS ultra-long micronwires was 1 μm and 20 μm, respectively. The PMAA concentration, deposition time and thiourea concentration were important factors for effecting the morphology and structure of CuS ultra-long microwires.
