  • Influence of strain rate on deformation induced ferrite transformation for Q235 steel was examined with Gleeble 3500 thermal simulator at 850 ℃.The results show that a lot of deformation induced ferrite could not be obtained at low strain rate (0.01 s-1).However,when the strain rate increased to higher than 5 s-1,the deformation induced ferrite could be found.The microstructure changed to be uniform and refine with increasing strain rate.The higher the strain rate was,the easier the formation of the deformation induced ferrite transformation was.
