Abstract
Precursor was prepared using tetrabutyl titanate ((C4H9O)4Ti) and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) as raw materials.TiO2 fibers were obtained by calcining the (C4H9O)4Ti/PVP precursor fibers produced by electrospinning at high temperature. The phase and morphology of the precursor and the obtained fibers were studied by means of XRD,SEM and infrared spectrometer. The results show that the diameter of the (C4H9O)4Ti/PVP precursor fibers was 2-5 μm and the length could reach several millimeters. After calcining at 1 000℃ rutile-type TiO2 fibers with the diameter of 0.5-1 μm were obtained. The fibers with shorter length were easy to fracture, and a special grain bonding structure formed.
