Study on Hot Deformation Behavior of TA15 Alloy

  • The high temperature compression tests of TA15 alloy were carried on Gleeble-1500 simulator.The temperature is from 650 ℃ to 1 000 ℃.The strain rate is from 0.001 s-1 to 1 s-1.The influence of processing parameters on the flow stress and the microstructure was studied.The strain rate sensitivity m and deformation activation energy Q were calculated.And the constitutive equation was presented.The results show that the flow stress decreases with the increase of temperature,while increases with the increase of strain rate.The value of m increases with the increase of deformation temperature.The deformation activation energy Q is 386.320 kJ/mol at 650-850 ℃ and 479.365 kJ/mol at 850-1 000 ℃,which means the two temperature ranges correspond to different deformation mechanism.
