    Causes of Impact Toughness Damage for 22Cr Duplex Stainless Steel

    • It was found that the toughness of wrought flanges manufactured by some company had obvious difference.Testing results of mechanical properties and microstructure indicated that the basic reason of toughness damage was intermetallic phase formed in the processes of flanges forging and heat treatment,with incorrect forging and heat treatment procedures.
