    Creep Life Prediction of Cr25Ni35Nb Steel for Furnace Tube Based on Modified θ Projection Method

    • The creep tests on Cr25Ni35Nb steel for furnace tube were carried out under different temperatures and stresses. The creep curves of the Cr25Ni35Nb steel were fitted by the modified θ projection concept method. A mathematical expression of the parameter θi in creep equation was obtained. The creep equation of Cr25Ni35Nb steel under arbitrary temperature and stress condition could be established. By the established creep equation, the creep life of the steel was predicted. The results of prediction agreed with the actual life well.
