Preliminary Analyses of Cracking for Large Turbine Generate Rotor
The crack in a large turbine generate rotor was studied from two aspects of the forging material and the heat-treatment technology.The result shows that the improper heat-treatment method causes high brittleness and notch sensitivity for the rotor material.The fatigue crack occurres near the stress concentration position.
