    Effect of Plasticizer on Properties of Nano-Fe3O4/PVA Magnetic Composite Film

    • Nano Fe3O4/PVA magnetic composite film was prepared by using nano-Fe3O4 powders and polyvinyl alcohol(PVA) with polyethylene glycol(PEG) and glycerin as plasticitizers.The morphology of the film was observed by field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM),tensile properties and magnetic performance were tested by tenslie tester and teslameter.The effects of the plasticitizers on the morphology and properties of the composite film were investigated.The results show that the morphology of the nano-Fe3O4/PVA magnetic composite film with plasticitizer was smooth,which had low elastic modulus and tensile strength,high elongation,character of magnetic distortion and susceptibility.
