Effect of Homogenization Annealing Technique on Textures and Earing Rate of 1100 Aluminium Sheet

  • Effect of homogenization annealing process on textures and earing rate of 1100 aluminium sheet was investigated using orientation distribution functions (ODF).The results show that the homogenization annealing technique could change the solubility of Fe in Al matrix and the size of precipitated particles containing Fe element.Thus it influenced the proportion of cube texture to R texture and B/R texture produced during the annealing process,anisotropy and earing rate of the aluminium sheet.Two kinds of annealing techniques of (560-580)℃×16 h and (520-550)℃×9 h were compared.The texture proportion of the former was more uniform than that of the latter,and the anisotropy of the former was weaker.
