    Fabrication of C/C-SiC by Self-heat Chemical Liquid Deposition Method and Oxidation Resistance Property

    • Adopting self-heat chemical liquid deposition(SHCLD) method,C/C-SiC composites were fabricated by twice-step deposition method with liquid hydrocarbon as precursor,carbon felt as porous performs.Effects of oxidation temperature and time to oxidation weight loss rates of different composites were investigated.The results show C/C-SiC composites has much more better oxidation resistance compared to C/C composites,and the weight loss of C/C-SiC composites is 15%-20% of C/C composites.By microstructure analysis of the two composites,oxidation mechanism is discussed.
