Conversion Relation of Leeb-hardness,Vickers-hardness and Strength of Austenitic Stainless Steels

  • For estimating strenth values by measuring hardness values,Leeb-hardness,Vickers-hardness,yield strength and tensile strength values of some austenitic stainless steels used in nuclear power industry were measured and the correlations among them were studied.Fitting curves and regress relation analysis were performed.The results show that the fitting curves between Leeb-hardness and Vickers-hardness of the austenitic stainless steels followed power function relation or linear relation,the fitting curves between hardness and yield and tensile strength of the austenitic stainless steels followed linear relation.
