Research Status of Rolling Contact Fatigue Performance of Silicon Nitride Bearing Balls

More Information
  • Received Date: April 07, 2014
  • Research on rolling contact fatigue performance of silicon nitride bearing balls are summarized. The main influence factors of rolling contact fatigue performance are introduced, such as pore, surface crack, surface strength, residual stress, surface roughness and lubrication condition. And the mechanism of fatigue spalling is also introduced. Finally, the existent problems are presented, and the future development direction is also prospected.
