Progress in Research on Preparation of Nano-powder by Evaporation-condensation Method

Evaporation-condensation method has been a classical method to prepare nano-powders for a long time,and it is still a main physical method to prepare nano-powders today.The categories of nano-powders of metal,alloy and metallic oxide which can be prepared by evaporation-condensation method are recommended.Heating modes and their characteristics are introduced,including ohmic-resistance heating,plasma arc heating,induction heating,electron beam heating,laser heating,and so on.The present situation of research on preparing technology and property of nano-powders prepared by the method is summarized.The present research on preparing process is mainly focused on technological parameters which influence nano-powders diameter,and approaches to raise nano-powders yield rate.The nano-powders prepared by evaporation-condensation method have superior mechanical,magnetic and optical properties.
