    Preparation and Properties of Gelatin-Iron Oxide Magnetorheological Fluids

    • Fe particles with microemulsion were prepared.The surface structure was analyzed by means of XRD,SEM and IR.The magnetorheological effects and subsidence stability of the gelatin/iron-oxides were studied.The results have shown that the gelatin/iron-oxides were complex particles composed of crystal α-Fe and non-crystal protein and exhibited very effective magnetorheological effect and much better subsidence stability than the single carbonyl iron.
