  • The homemade aluminium substrates of PS plate made by hot rolled strip,general casting rolled strip and electromagnetic casting rolled strip were compared with the Al substrate of high quality made in Japan.The effect of process conditions on various properties of aluminium substrate of PS was analyzed by means of weight-loss corrosion testing,anodic film,dilute acid corrosion and tensile test.The results show that the microstructures of homemade substrate by hot rolling and cast-rolling were similar.And the one by hot rolling,whose FeAl2 particles were small and distributed evenly,showed better corrosion properties than the general casting rolled strip.Compared to that made of general cast-rolled strip,FeAl2 particles in the substrate made of electromagnetic casting rolled strip were less,smaller and distributed more evenly.After intermediate annealing tensile properties and elongation of the substrate made of hot rolled strip were influenced evidently by cold rolling redution.
