Effects of Copper and Titanium Elements on High-Temperature Oxidation Behavior of Nickel-Based Corrosion Retistant Alloy
-
Abstract
The high-temperature oxidation kinetic curves of nickel-based corrosion resistant alloy in air at 800 ℃ were got by using weight gain method. The morphology and composition of the oxidation film were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy and energy spectrometer. The effects of copper and titanium on high-temperature oxidation behavior of the alloy were studied. The results show that the high-temperature oxidation resistant property of the alloy gradually decreased with increase of copper content. The oxidation film on alloy surface was more compact and high-temperature oxidation resistant property was strengthened for adding acertain amount of titanium element.
