Abstract

This paper studied the effect of different rolling process on quality of 120 mm square billet of A8MOD steel. Research shows that the quality can be significantly improved by controlling the amount of reduction and the rolling speed, thus solving the problem of central porosity and internal cracks of 120 mm square billets.
