Microstructure and Properties of 0-3 PZT/PVDF Piezoelectric Composite Film Prepared by Doctor-Blade Casting Process
-
Abstract
0-3 PZT/PVDF piezoelectric composites with different volume percentage of PZT were prepared by doctor-blade casting process. The microstructure of these piezoelectric composites were observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and X-ray diffraction (XRD) was used to analyze phase composition. The influence of PZT volume percentage on piezoelectric properties was also studied. The results show that the prepared piezoelectric composites had uniform and dense structure, no impurity phases, and good dispersity of the PZT. The piezoelectric constant, dielectric constant, dielectric losses and mechanical quality factor of these piezoelectric composites increased with the increase of PZT volume percentage. The combination property of the composite was best when PZT volume percentage was 70% at test frequency of 1 kHz.
