Abstract
Amorphous Fe78Si13B9 and nanocrystalline Fe73.5Si13.5B9Nb3Cu1 ribbons were prepared by melt-spinning and crystallizing processes respectively, and the Fe-based alloy ribbons were annealed at different temperatures.A comparative study of the electrochemical corrosion behavior of the two alloys had been performed by linear polarization curve method in 0.1 mol·L-1 NaCl solution. The influence of annealing temperature on corrosion resistance was investigated. The results show that the Fe-based nanocrystalline alloys had better corrosion resistance than amorphous alloys, and the corrosion resistance of both amorphous and nanocrystalline alloys increased as annealing temperature increase.
