Application of Progressive Damage Method on Bolted Joints in Composite Laminates

The progressive damage method has been widely applied to analyze damage accumulation and predict strengths of all kinds of composite structures.This paper gives a review on the progressive damage analyses applied to mechanically fastened joints in fiber-reinforced composite materials,including the components of stress analysis,failure analysis and material property degradation.The future work is also discussed.
