    Building of Turning Force Model for LD10 Aluminum Alloy

    • The turning force testing for LD10 aluminum alloy bar was performed, the finite element model during turning was built, and the turning force model of the tested aluminum alloy was obtain by regression analysis. The effects of cutting depth, feed and cutting speed on cutting force were studied. The study show that the accuracy of the results for test and finite element simulation could meet the engineering application requirements, they had good agreement, and the predicted value of the turning force had higher accuracy and could be used to the next according theory and engineering application.
