    Effect of Ti Catalysis on Nitrocarburizing of Cr12 Steel in Salt Bath at Low Temperature

    • Effect of the Ti catalysis on the nitrocarburizing of Cr12 steel in salt bath at a low temperature was investigated.There existed an optimal concentration of Ti catalysis.Ti catalysis could increase the depth of nitrided layer,enhance the surface hardness during short processes and could get rapid velocity of nitrocarburizing processes.Application of the Ti catalysis nitrocarburized method in salt bath is facile and economic,with low temperature and short time.
