  • Metallographic analysis and diffusion kinetics analysis were used to investigate the contribution of solution temperature and time to eutectic Si morphology of ZL114A alloy in the solution treatment process.The results indicate that the solution temperature is a significant influence factor on the process of eutectic Si spheroidization.Spheroidization degree of eutectic Si increases with the increase of solution temperature.As long as the temperature is below the overheat temperature,the divarication and neck section of eutectic Si break up firstly during solution treatment,and the Si phase is gradually passivated and rounded.The optimal Si morphology of ZL114A alloy was obtained after 550 ℃×10 h solution treatment.
