    Creep Life Prediction of 310S Heat-Resistant Stainless Steel for Ring Furnace Cover

    • The creep experiments for 310S stainless steel used as ring furnace cover material in steel mills were carried out at same temperature and different stresses. Creep life was forecasted based on the life curve equation for 310S steel under this condition using θ-projection method and L-M parametric method, and was compared with the actual service life. The results show that these two methods had an identical predicted life, but the θ-projection predicted results were more accurate.
