Formation Mechanism of Aluminum Oxide Template Made by Two-step Anodizing

Porous anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) membrane had been prepared in phosphoric acid by two-step anodizing.The AAO membrane was analyzed by transmission electron microscopy(TEM)and X-ray diffraction(XRD),and then the formation mechanism of aluminum oxide template was studied.An appropriate increase of voltage is helpful to the ordering of holes,and there is an optimal time for the ordering of holes.The formation process of AAO membrane can be explained based on the present experiment and some former model.
