Analysis of Process Crack on Support Part for Engine of Aircraft

Tiny crack appeared on the support part of the aircraft engine during the processing.Through microstructure analysis,fracture side analysis,hydrogen contain measure and welding test,the reason of the tiny crack appearing was analyzed.The results show that tiny crack main by using the unqualified protect gas(Ar)during welding could cause the increasing hydrogen contain in the weld area,created the hydrogen embrittlement crack.
