Effect of Cold Rolling Reduction on Texture in Warm Rolled Ti-IF Steel Sheet

  • The effect of cold rolling reduction (10%-85%) on macro texture,microstructure,inner structure of the grain and grain orientation of the warm rolled Ti-IF steel sheet had been investigated by means of X-ray diffraction,optical microscope and scanning electron microscope.The mechanical properties of the annealed Ti-IF steel sheet with different reductions were tested by tensile testing machine.The results show that with the increasing reduction γ-orientation grains of the Ti-IF steel sheet gradually rotated to α-orientation grains,and thus the texture was composed of γ fiber texture and α fiber texture instead of single γ fiber texture.The average plastic strain ratio r value increased first and then decreased with the increase of the reduction.The highest r value could be obtained with the reduction of 75%.
