    Mechanical Properties of ARB 1060 Industry Pure Aluminum

    • The mechanical performance change of 1060 industry pure aluminum which had been processed under room temperature condition using accumulative rollbonding(ARB) was analyzed.The experimental results indicate that the material tensile strength and microhardness were enhanced with rolling pass increase.The dimple of the fracture gradually became smaller and shallower but it was still gliding fracture.The elongation percentage dropped remarkably at the first pass,and then its changes was smooth with the rolling pass increase.After five cycles,the material obtained fairly good mechanical properties.Compared to the properties of the parent metal,the tensile strength enhanced to 210 MPa approximately 2.41 times,the microhardness enhanced to 78.5 HV about 2.2 times and the elongation percentage was 9.3% only 0.21 times.
